MIMR 2008/09 Report Day 3
The penultimate day of the Mumbai International Match Race started off with a fog enveloping the picturesque Chowpatty Bay delaying racing on account of no wind. Racing finally started after a delay at 1200 Hrs in light and shifty winds which seemed to be the norm for the day. But this was not to be as a North Westerly kicked up by 2 PM gusting to 23 Kts causing mayhem and excitement on the racecourse.
MIMR 2008/09 Report Day 2
Day 2 of the Mumbai International Match Race threw up some extremely interesting racing and permutations as to which teams could progress into the next round of the top six.

MIMR 2008/09 Report Day 1
The Day 1 of the Mumbai International Match Race started off in spanking style with gusty winds right from the start at 1030 Hrs which picked up even further as the day progressed. The format for the racing was that all the 12 entered teams had to sail against each other in a round robin format which now comprised of 66 races.
MIMR 2008/09 QUALIFIER Report Final Day
Racing for the final day started early at 0915 H to go through the schedule of completing the round of the top six followed by the sail offs for positions 7 and 13 followed by the petit round robin for places 9 to 12 culminating in the 1st to two point semi finals and finals.
MIMR 2008/09 QUALIFIER Report Day 2
Racing for the second day of the Qualifier started off light winds at 1030 with Farokh and Nitin who had won their 2 races yeaterday being the fovourites to top this group in addition to Peter Kochnev from Russia likely to be a thorn in their plans.

MIMR 2008/09 QUALIFIER Report Day 1
The Day 1 of the Qualifier started off at 9 am wherein teams were registered prior to a lengthy briefing for the competitors by the organizers of the event followed by a briefing by the International Umpire Mr Piero Occheto from Italy who explained the nuances of the new rule changes to the competitors.
